Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 18353-2008 "Basic technical conditions for cotton processing enterprises." Compared with GB/T 18353-2008, the main technical changes except editorial modification are as follows:
--- Modify the scope of application of the basic technical conditions of cotton processing enterprises for the cotton processing technology management and third-party certification (see Chapter 1);
--- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
--- Increased the construction requirements of cotton processing plants (see

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 32139 apply to this document.
4 Basic requirements
4.1 Cotton processing enterprises shall have fields such as seed cotton acquisition, seed cotton yard, processing workshop, lint yard and cottonseed yard. Seed cotton yard, leather The cotton yard and the cottonseed yard should be separated or isolated from each other.
