Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. This standard replaces GB/T 13879-1992 "milk storage tank." This standard compared with GB/T 13879-1992, in addition to editorial changes outside the main technical differences are as follows:

--- To the milk emulsion (see Chapter 1);

--- Increased terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

--- Increasing the types and basic parameters (see Chapter 4);

--- Where the original parts in direct contact with the milk with no less than austenitic stainless steel material performance requirements deleted (see 5.1.4);

--- The remaining amount from the bladder to change the requirements in terms of performance requirements (see 5.2.3);

--- Increase the hoisting device requirements (see 5.3.2.3);

--- Increased contact with parts of the operator should not have sharp edges requirements (see 5.3.2.4);

--- The opening to the manhole (see 5.3.5);

--- On the basis of the original standard outlet only on the increase in fluid intake and cleaning device (see 5.3.6);

--- Increased fluid intake, the inlet feed direction of the requirements (see 5.3.6.2);

--- Increased cleaning spray ball mounting location requirements (see 5.3.6.6);

1 Scope

GB/T 13879-2015 is the Chinese national standard on milk tanks, in the field of agriculture. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. 4 Types and basic parameters

4.1 Milk storage tank according to the structure can be divided into.

a) vertical milk storage tank;

b) Horizontal milk storage tank.
