Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 17712-1999 "speed printer and document copier graphic symbols", compared with GB/T 17712-1999, The main technical changes are as follows:

---GB/T 17712-1999. Speed printer and copier graphic symbol

1 Scope

GB/T 17712-2018 is the Chinese national standard on duplicators and copying machines - symbols, in the field of generalities, terminology and documentation. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. 3 Graphic symbol drawing rules

Graphic symbols are drawn in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 16902.1-2017 and GB/T 16902.4-2017.

Note. On some devices, especially small devices, the graphic symbols given in this standard cannot be made due to some special manufacturing reasons or lack of space. In the case of use, or in the case where the graphic symbol has a text description, the graphic symbol used is allowed to change, but the changed graphic symbol and the present are required. The distinction between the graphical symbols shown in the standard is as small as possible and concise and practical, and clearly shows its original meaning.

4 Position and direction of graphic symbols

4.1 Position of graphic symbols Various graphic symbols should be placed in.
