Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 17278-1998 "digital topographic map products" and GB/T 18315-2001 "digital topographic map series and basic requirements". This standard and GB /and GB/T 18315-2001, compared T 17278-1998 main changes are as follows:

a) change the name of the standard.

b) changing the structure of the standard, the standard of the technical elements in reference to ISO 19131.2007 "Digital Geographic Information Product Specifications" Structure. The change does not affect the references GB/T 17278-1998 "digital topographic map products" and GB/T 18315-2001 "digital topographic map series and basic requirements of the" standard of the relevant national and industry standards, but the relevant standard An updated version of this standard should be cited.
