1 Scope

GB/T 15545-2020 is the Chinese national standard on general rules for packing, marking, transport, storage and quality certificates of unshaped refractory, in the field of glass and ceramics industries. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This Standard specifies the packing, marking, transport, storage and quality certificates of unshaped refractory (hereinafter referred to as products). This Standard applies to unshaped refractory.

a) The bucket shall be round, free of obvious defects such as out-of-round, concave, deflection; the bucket body shall be smooth, free of burrs and mechanical damage;

6 Transport

6.1 Before the transport, the package shall be verified to be complete; the internal components shall not leak, not damaged; the seal shall be intact.

6.2 The transport machine shall be safe, firm and clean, and shall be equipped with rain and moisture-proof facilities.

6.3 Handle with care and keep the package intact during transport.

6.4 Packages which are transported over long distances can be transported in containers.

7 Storage

7.1 Packages should be stored in a warehouse that is protected from rain, moisture, sun and fire.

7.2 Packages shall be stacked and marked separately.

8 Quality certificate

Each batch of products shall be accompanied by a quality certificate, which indicates:

a) name of the manufacturer;

b) name of the buyer;

c) product name, designation grade and batch number;
