Scope
GB/T 32832-2025 is the English-translated version of 矾土基耐火均质料.
GB/T 32832-2025 covers bauxite-based synthetic homogenized grogs, the alumina-silica refractory clinker made by batching, homogenizing, fine grinding, forming and high-temperature calcining bauxites of different alumina content.
It sets the grades, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, marking, transport, storage and certificate of quality.
Eleven grades are defined: FNJ-90, FNJ-88, FNJ-85, FNJ-83, FNJ-80, FNJ-70A, FNJ-70B, FNJ-60A, FNJ-60B, FNJ-50A and FNJ-50B, where F, N and J are the pinyin initials of bauxite base, refractory and homogeneous material, the number is the mass fraction of alumina and A and B mark different iron contents.
It cites GB/T 18930 for terminology. It replaces GB/T 32832-2016, was issued on 1 August 2025 and has applied since 1 February 2026.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 32832-2016 "Alumina-based refractory homogeneous materials". Compared with GB/T 32832-2016, except for the structural adjustment and in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The definition of alumina-based refractory homogeneous material has been changed (see 3.1, 3.1 of the 2016 edition);
b) Added the grades of alumina-based refractory homogeneous materials FNJ-90 and FNJ-83, and adjusted the grades of FNJ-70, FNJ-60 and FNJ-50 to FNJ-70A, FNJ-70B, FNJ-60A, FNJ-60B, FNJ-50A, FNJ-50B (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2016 edition);
c) The physical and chemical indicators of alumina-based refractory homogeneous materials have been changed (see Table 1, Table 1 of the 2016 edition);
d) Added requirements for other physical properties (see 5.2);
e) The corresponding test methods have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the 2016 edition);
f) The contents of packaging, labeling, transportation, storage and quality certificate have been changed (see Chapter 8, Chapter 8 of the 2016 edition).
1 Scope
This document specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and certificate of quality.
This document applies to alumina-based refractory homogeneous materials.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18930 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Bauxite-based refractory homogeneous material
The product is made of bauxite with different alumina contents as the main raw material, which is synthesized through batching, homogenization, fine grinding, molding, high temperature calcination and other processes. Alumina-silica refractory clinker with uniform distribution, uniform structure and stable performance.
4 Brand
According to the chemical composition of alumina, bauxite-based refractory homogeneous materials are divided into eleven grades, namely FNJ-90, FNJ-88, FNJ-85, FNJ-83, FNJ-80, FNJ-70A, FNJ-70B, FNJ-60A, FNJ-60B, FNJ-50A, FNJ-50B. The "F", "N" and "J" in the brand name respectively stand for "bauxite".
The first Chinese characters of "base", "refractory" and "homogeneous material" are the pinyin initials. The numbers are the mass fractions of aluminum oxide. A and B are the grades. Differences in iron content.
