QC/T 914-2013 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard covering the type approval test procedure for dimethyl ether vehicles. It sets out the test conditions under which a DME-fuelled vehicle type is tested, the circumstances in which a test is broken off, and the test items together with the method used for each of them.

The procedure is written for single-fuel DME vehicles of categories M and N, and it is addressed in particular to newly developed base DME vehicle models. Among the documents it cites are GB 7258, GB/T 12534, GB/T 12543, GB/T 12547, GB/T 18697, QC/T 813 and QC/T 814. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
