QC/T 916-2013 is the English-translated version of 重型车用二甲醚单燃料发动机 技术条件.
Heavy-duty vehicle engines that run on dimethyl ether alone are the subject of QC/T 916-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese automobile industry.
It lays down the technical requirements for such mono-fuel DME engines and the test methods used to check them, together with the inspection rules and the conditions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Its scope takes in engines fitted to vehicles whose maximum design speed exceeds 25 km/h in the heavier M and N categories.
