1 Foreword

NB/T 42160-2018 was issued by National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China on 6 June 2018 and has been in force since 1 October 2018.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese energy industry specification for three-level bi-directional DC/DC converters. It covers the types of converter, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it goes on to marking, packaging, transport and storage as well as the documents supplied with the product. Converters rated from 10 kW to 500 kW and working in DC systems at voltage levels from 200 V to 1500 V are its field, and three-level unidirectional DC/DC converters may be treated by reference to it.
