Scope
NB/T 20053-2011 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全重要电气、仪表和控制设备安装要求.
NB/T 20053-2011 is the Chinese energy industry standard giving the basic installation requirements for electrical, instrumentation and control equipment and systems important to the safety of a nuclear power plant.
The requirements run from inspection before installation, through the installation work itself, to the inspection and testing done once it is complete. They cover site installation of all such equipment in new plants and installation during refurbishment or repair of operating plants, and other nuclear facilities may refer to them.
Welding, instrument purging and pipeline pressure testing, verification of support structures, adjustment of rotating equipment, periodic testing after first operation, manufacturer acceptance testing and non-destructive testing lie outside the standard.
It cites GB/T 13284.1, GB/T 13286, EJ/T 529, NB/T 20052 and HAF 003, and it replaces EJ/T 626-1992. Issued on 1 July 2011, it has applied since 1 October 2011.
