Scope
GB/T 43347-2023 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全重要电气、仪表与控制设备环境参数的监测.
GB/T 43347-2023 sets out how a nuclear power plant monitors the environmental parameters around the electrical, instrumentation and control equipment important to safety while the plant is running.
It fixes the monitoring principles and the general process, then the technical requirements: how the parameters to be monitored are selected, the monitoring methods, where the monitoring points go, the monitoring instruments and the duration and frequency of monitoring, followed by the storage of monitoring data and documents and by quality assurance, with an informative appendix on equivalent temperature conversion using the Arrhenius model.
Clause 1 leaves out design basis accident monitoring and names the uses of the data: verifying design environmental parameters, extending equipment qualified life, analysing failures, renewing the operating licence and ageing assessment. Issued on 27 November 2023, it has applied since 1 March 2024.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
1 Scope
This document establishes the environment of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment (hereinafter referred to as "electrical and instrumentation and control equipment") important to safety during the operation of nuclear power plants.
The principles of parameter monitoring also stipulate the process, technical requirements, monitoring data and text storage, quality assurance and other requirements.
This document applies to environmental monitoring of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment important to safety during operation of nuclear power plants (excluding design basis accidents)
Environmental monitoring), guides nuclear power plants to obtain important environmental parameters that significantly affect the aging process of electrical and instrumentation and control equipment, and provides a basis for verification of design environmental parameters and Provide data support for equipment qualification life extension, equipment failure cause analysis, nuclear power plant operation license extension and aging assessment, etc.
Environmental monitoring of other equipment shall be carried out with reference to this document.
2 Normative reference documents

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 environmental parameter
One or more physical, chemical, or biological characteristics that describe an environmental agent.
Note: For example, environmental factor vibration is characterized by parameters such as vibration type (sinusoidal, random), acceleration and frequency. Examples of environmental parameters include temperature, speed etc. [Source: GB/T 4796-2017, 3.3, with modifications]
3.2 Before
the original operating license of the nuclear power plant expires, the license period of the nuclear power plant operating license shall be extended to the original operating license through analysis and evaluation. process after the license period.
3.3 Qualified life
A structure, system or component has been proven through testing, analysis and/or operating experience to be capable of acceptance under specific operating conditions.
Operate within the standard range while maintaining the time required to perform its safety functions under design basis accident or seismic conditions. [Source: NB/T 20063-2012,6.1.8]
