NB/T 11134-2023 is the English-translated version of 矿用红外热像仪.

NB/T 11134-2023 is the Chinese energy industry standard for detection-type infrared thermal imagers used in mining, instruments that convert the infrared radiation of an object surface into a visible image through an infrared optical system, a detector and electronic processing.

It gives the model designation and product classification, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, and closes with marking, packaging, transport and storage.

Tests cover climatic and mechanical stress, including rough handling shock, as well as enclosure protection and explosion protection, with reference to the industrial detection infrared camera standard GB/T 19870.

It applies to thermal imaging cameras used in coal mines, non-coal mines and other workplaces. Issued on 6 February 2023, it has applied since 6 August 2023.
