Scope

GB/T 19870-2018 is the English-translated version of 工业检测型红外热像仪.

GB/T 19870-2018 is the Chinese product standard for thermal imaging cameras used for industrial inspection in electric power, metallurgy, coal mining and the petrochemical industry.

It defines the terms used, classifies the cameras, including by detector type, and sets the basic parameters: spatial resolution, frame rate, field of view, working band and temperature range.

The technical requirements cover performance, such as maximum allowable error, stable working time, minimum resolvable temperature difference and enclosure protection, together with environmental adaptability, electromagnetic compatibility and functions.

It then gives the test conditions and methods, the factory and type inspection rules, and marking, packaging and transport. It is used by manufacturers and testing bodies.

It replaces GB/T 19870-2005, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 19870-2005 "Industrial Detection Infrared Thermal Imager". This standard is compared with GB/T 19870-2005, the main To change as follows.

--- Added the terms and definitions of "minimum resolvable temperature difference" and "feature space frequency" (see 3.13, 3.14);

--- Added "classified by detector type" (see 4.2);

--- Increased the "minimum resolvable temperature difference" requirements and corresponding test methods (see 6.1.7, 7.2.7);

--- Increased "high temperature storage" and "low temperature storage" requirements and test methods (see 6.2.1 and 7.2.10.2, 7.2.10.4);

--- Added "flag, packaging and shipping" requirements (see Chapter 9);

--- Increased the requirements of the "drop test" and test methods (see 6.2.5 and 7.2.10.8);

--- Revised the "scope" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2005 edition);

--- Modified the "working band" (see 5.4, 2005 version 4.2.5);

--- Modify "accuracy" to "maximum allowable error" (see 6.1.3, 5.1.3 of 2005 edition);

--- Revised the "continuous stable working time" requirements and test methods (see 6.1.4, 7.2.4, 2005 version 5.1.5, 6.4.5);

---Modified the "shell protection" requirements (see 6.1.8, 2005 version 5.1.9);

--- Modified the "working temperature" requirements [see 6.2.1a), 2005 edition of 5.1.11.2, 5.1.11.3];

--- Revised the "vibration" requirements and test methods (see 6.2.4, 7.2.10.7, 2005 editions 5.1.11.5, 6.5.7);

--- Revised the "electromagnetic compatibility" requirements and the corresponding test methods (see 6.3, 7.1.2, 2005 editions 5.1.8, 6.4.8);

---Modified "Function Requirements" and "Function Check" (see 6.4, 7.2.12, 2005, 5.2, 6.6);

--- Revised the requirements of "test equipment" (see 7.1.3, 6.3 of the 2005 edition);

--- Removed the terms and definitions of "infrared pixels" and "video output format" (see 3.5, 3.12 in 2005);

--- Removed the terminology, requirements and corresponding test methods for the "feature temperature range" (see 3.7, 5.1.4 and 6.4.4 of the 2005 edition).
