1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and markings of platinum wire products for resistance thermometers.

3.1 Resistance ratio

Rt --- the resistance value of platinum wire at temperature t, in ohms (ohm);
Rtp---the resistance value of platinum wire at water triple point temperature tp, in ohms (ohm).
This resistance ratio is suitable for No. 1 platinum wire.
3.2 Temperature coefficient of resistance
The temperature coefficient of resistance alpha is defined by equation (2).

R100---the resistance value of platinum wire at temperature t=100°C, the unit is ohm (ohm);
R0 --- The resistance value of platinum wire at temperature t=0 ° C, in ohms (ohm).
