JB/T 9179.8-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9179.8-1999.
It is one of 15 parts of the JB/T 9179 series.
2 Scope
JB/T 9179.8-2013 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the machining allowances and tolerances of ring, cylinder-segment and flange forgings made by open-die forging on a hydraulic press.
