1 Foreword

JB/T 8867-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8867-2000.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the air receiver of a stationary reciprocating piston air compressor. It sets out the types, the basic parameters, the design parameters and dimensions, the requirements, the inspection and acceptance, and the provisions for marking, packing and transportation of receivers built for the working pressures it lists. The receivers it applies to are the air compressor air tanks specified in GB/T 13279, and it extends to other positive displacement air compressors working at the same pressures. It replaces JB/T 8867-2000. Among the standards it quotes are GB 150.1, GB 713, GB/T 799, GB/T 13306, GB/T 25198, HG/T 20592, JB/T 4711, JB/T 4736, NB/T 47013.2, NB/T 47040-2013 and TSG R0003. Its classifications are J72 and 23.140.
