JB/T 2886-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the technical requirements for trapezoidal lead screws and nuts used in machine tools. It sets out terms and definitions for the screw and the nut, the accuracy requirements, and the methods of testing them. It applies to single start trapezoidal screws and nuts serving transmission and positioning duties in machine tools, whose thread profile angle conforms to GB/T 5796.1 and whose pitch and diameter conform to GB/T 5796.2; screws and nuts of other, non-standard profile angles may also be made to it. It replaces JB/T 2886-1992 and is classified as J51 and 25.080.01.
