HG/T 3661.2-2016 is part 2 of the recommended chemical industry standard on industrial fuel gases, and it deals with propane for cutting and welding. It sets the technical requirements and the inspection rules, the test methods and the provisions for packaging, marking and storage. The propane it covers is the gas obtained from oil and gas extraction and from petroleum processing, used for flame cutting and welding and for making up the mixed gases employed in that work. Under classification G86 and ICS 71.100.20, it quotes GB 190, GB 5100, GB 7144, GB 9448, GB 13075, JB/T 5905, SH/T 0221 and SH/T 0230 among others. It replaces HG/T 3661.2-1999. Issued on 5 April 2016, it has applied since 1 September 2016.
