Scope
HG/T 3661.1-2016 is the English-translated version of 工业燃气 切割焊接用丙烯.
Part 1 of the industrial fuel gases standard, HG/T 3661.1-2016, is the recommended chemical industry standard for propylene for cutting and welding. It states the technical requirements, the inspection rules, the test methods and the rules on packaging, marking and storage for that gas. The propylene concerned is the material obtained during petroleum processing, used for flame cutting and welding and for preparing the mixed gases employed in it. Its classification is G86 with ICS 71.100.20, and it is read with the companion part HG/T 3661.2 and quotes GB/T 11141, GB/T 13290, SH/T 0221, SH/T 0230 and SH/T 0232. It takes the place of HG/T 3661.1-1999. Issued on 5 April 2016, it has applied since 1 September 2016.
