HG/T 4097-2009 is the English-translated version of 增效丙烷.

HG/T 4097-2009 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for propane blended with a synergist. It fixes the technical requirements for this high-efficiency propane and the test methods used to check it, and it covers packaging, marking, storage and safety. The gas it describes is a stable liquefied gas made from industrial by-product propane into which a synergist is uniformly mixed. Such gas is used mainly for flame cutting, flame spraying and welding of metal. Cylinder, labelling and analytical provisions are taken from GB 190, GB 5100, GB 9448, GB/T 12576, GB 15258, GB 16483, GB 17267, HG/T 3661.2, SH/T 0221 and SH/T 0230, among others. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
