Scope

HG/T 3533-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业循环冷却水污垢和腐蚀产物中灼烧失重测定方法.

HG/T 3533-2011 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China on the loss on ignition of sludge and corrosion products from industrial circulating cooling water. Two determinations are described: the loss on ignition at 550 °C and the further loss between 550 °C and 950 °C. The first gives an estimate of the organic matter combined in the deposit, the second an estimate of its carbonate content. It quotes HG/T 3530 and HG/T 3531. It replaces HG/T 3533-2003. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
