HG/T 2286-2010 is the English-translated version of 碱性荧光黄GR（C.I.碱性黄2）.
HG/T 2286-2010 is a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry for basic fluorescent yellow GR, the cationic dye known as C.I. Basic Yellow 2 or auramine O. It states the requirements for the product and the rules for sampling, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marks, labels, packaging, transport and storage. Its purpose is quality control of the basic fluorescent yellow GR product. The dye testing and fastness standards it quotes include GB/T 2374-2007, GB/T 2386-2006, GB/T 2399-2003, GB/T 3921-2008, GB/T 4841.1-2006 and GB/T 8427-2008, with GB 19601 and GB 20814 also called up. It supersedes HG/T 2286-1992. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
