HG/T 20661-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry specification for laying the lining of fluidized bed roasting furnaces in sulphuric acid plants. It governs the masonry construction of these furnaces and its acceptance. The furnaces in its scope are those producing SO2 feed gas from pyrite and from prepared sulphur concentrate, and the masonry construction of sulphur-burning furnaces may also be carried out by reference to it. Refractory, brick and surface preparation references are quoted throughout, among them GB 201, GB/T 2988, GB/T 3994, GB/T 3996, GB/T 8923, GB 50211, GB 50309, HG/T 3252, HG/T 20685, JB/T 4735 and several YB/T documents. It replaces HG/T 20661-1999. Issued on 18 May 2011, it has applied since 1 June 2011.
