Scope
GB/T 4743-2009 is the English-translated version of 纺织品 卷装纱 绞纱法线密度的测定.
GB/T 4743-2009 — This standard specifies the method for determining various types of linear density of yarn package. The standard depending on the humidity or preparation method is divided into seven kinds of programs.
Since different procedures may give different results, it is necessary to root According to the provisions of standard products and the parties agree to choose.
This standard applies to all types of yarn, including yarn and winding yarn, strands and cables.
This standard does not apply to the tension from 0.5cN/tex to 1.0cN/tex at an elongation greater than 0.5% of the yarn, in addition to the agreement approved by in addition, this type of yarn can be tested under all parties concerned to accept the conditions of tension.
This standard does not apply to the linear density of greater than 2000tex yarn. This type of yarn, according to the agreement among the parties, the provisions of its twisted and the length of yarn winding conditions.

Foreword
This standard uses the redrafted law revision adopted ISO 2060:1994 "Textiles - Determination of the normal yarn skein density (unit length Degree of quality) "(in English).
This standard and ISO 2060:1994 The main differences are as follows.
--- Normative references, reference is made to international standards corresponding to our standards;
--- Increased 3.2 Terms of the Notes;
--- Increasing the linear density is calculated deviation rate (see 11.5).
This standard replaces GB/T 4743-1995 "Determination of linear density of yarn skein method", mainly present standards and GB/T 4743-1995 of Differences are as follows.
--- Range of refined and unequivocal "does not apply tension from 0.5cN/tex to 1.0cN/tex at an elongation greater than 0.5% of the yarn line";
--- Normative references added GB/T 8693;
--- Remove the normative references in GB/T 9995;
The term --- Chapter 3 has increased from 2-9;
--- Chapter 4 adds in principle specifically described seven programs (see 4.1 and 4.2);
--- 5.1 clearly hank winding tension adopts 0.5cN/tex;
--- Increased sampling batches of samples and laboratory samples not specified in the product standard or protocol when;
--- Original in Chapter 8 of the humidity, rocking test skein respectively as in Chapter 8, 9, and Chapter 10;
--- Original Chapter 8 and Chapter 9, weighing calculated merged into Chapter 11, and gives a formula for each program, increasing the line is calculated density deviation rate;
--- Added Appendix C "Sampling Procedures" Appendix D "laboratory samples and specimens recommended method of controlling the humidity." the Standard Appendix A and Appendix C is a normative appendix, Appendix B, Appendix D and Appendix E is an informative annex.
The standard proposed by China Textile Industry Association.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee on Basic Standards Subcommittee Textiles (SAC/TC209/SC1) centralized.

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
Mass per unit length of the yarn to the Turks and fractional units or multiples units (see GB/T 8693 and FZ/T 01035).
Conventional value of textile material drying quality common line used to calculate the density or quality of the commercial moisture regain.
Note. In the case of no agreement, this standard can be used in place of commercial moisture regain calculated yarn linear density.
A contract value of textile material drying quality common line used to calculate the density or quality of the business, this value is equal to the agreed commercial and Regain Allowed to finish the recognition and stickers.
Under specified conditions of temperature and humidity, moisture absorption and desorption of the sample reached equilibrium, the quality tends to change the status of zero.
