GB/T 45780-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering what makes a commercial or industrial refrigeration unit count as a green product — the evaluation requirements and the method that turns them into a verdict, the energy attribute indicators set separately for water and air source chillers, air conditioning units, data centre cooling, dehumidifiers, compressors, valves and heat exchangers, the quality attribute indicators, the carbon footprint quantification, and the supplementary test methods the indicators are measured by. The energy and quality indicators are normative; the carbon footprint method is given for information only. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.

1 Scope
