Scope

GB/T 10079-2018 is the English-translated version of 活塞式单级制冷剂压缩机(组).

GB/T 10079-2018 is the Chinese national standard on single-stage reciprocating refrigerant compressor (unit), in the field of energy and heat transfer engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 28 December 2018 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2019. Classification: ICS 27.200, CCS J73. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

6.2.4.2 Test procedure 6.2.4.2.1 For hermetic compressors:

a) Take a filter paper with a porosity of 5 µm. Put it in an oven. Heat to 60°C~70°C. The compressor (unit) is connected to the pipeline as shown in Figure 3. Open the pressure equalizing valve and shut-off valve first. After evacuating it, fill it with an appropriate amount of refrigerant. Close the pressure equalizing valve. Start and run the compressor (unit). Adjust the opening of the shut-off valve. Make the exhaust pressure and suction pressure stable at the nominal operating conditions specified in Table 2 or Table 3. Then shut down. The preparation before test shall be ended. During the test, the compressor (unit) shall work to meet or exceed the test pressure ratio under the nominal operating condition. Before the compressor (unit) is restarted, the pressure in the system shall be balanced. The pressure shall remain stable. When it is found that the balance pressure drops, the refrigerant shall be replenished in time. The compressor (unit) is allowed to use external forced cooling during the test. The test has been continuously. The number of on-off times of high-temperature compressors (units) shall not be less than 6×104 times. The number of on-off times of medium- temperature and low-temperature compressors (units) shall not be less than 12×104 times.

Annex A

(normative) Test method for oil consumption A.1 Scope of application This method is applicable to the determination of oil consumption of compressors (units) using R717. A.2 General requirements A.2.1 In order to avoid the impact of the test system on the oil consumption, the oil accumulated in the oil separator, regulating valve, buffer, etc. shall be carefully removed before the test starts. The oil return valve of the oil separator shall be closed during the test. A.2.2 During the test, the compressor (unit) shall be strictly prevented from inhaling gas with liquid, which will affect the accuracy of the test results. A.3 Test steps A.3.1 First add the refrigerating machine oil of the specified designation into the crankcase. Make the oil level reach the specified height. Start the compressor (unit) according to the program. Run for 4 h under nominal operating conditions. When the suction pressure is

0.1 MPa, stop the machine and drain the oil until the oil drain reaches the point of dripping oil. Then refill the crankcase with oil and record the mass of oil added. A.3.2 Restart the compressor (unit). Make the compressor (unit) run continuously for 20 h under the nominal operating conditions. Shut down and drain oil when the suction pressure is

0.1 MPa. Weigh the mass of the released oil. A.4 Test results The difference between the two weighed oil mass is the total oil consumption in 20 h. From this, the oil consumption per hour can be calculated.

Annex B
