Scope
GB/T 29029-2012 is the English-translated version of 大型盐水制冰机组.
GB/T 29029-2012 is a Chinese national standard for large-scale saline ice making installations. It specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of the units.
It applies to units that use R717 (ammonia) or fluorinated hydrocarbon refrigerant and indirect brine cooling to make non-edible white ice blocks, with a daily ice output of not less than 10 t.
Smaller brine ice making units, under 10 t per day, and units making transparent ice may use it by reference. It refers to GB/T 191, GB 5749, GB 50072 and the JB/T 7658 series among others.
It was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. Issued on 31 December 2012 and applicable from 1 October 2013, it does not replace any earlier standard.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. The standard proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the large salt water ice making unit (hereinafter referred to as "units") terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test side Method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to R717 or fluorinated hydrocarbon refrigerant, brine indirect cooling system to take the form of non-edible white ice lumps, Nissan Not less than the amount of ice making unit 10t.
Daily output of less than 10t small saline ice making unit and transparent ice brine ice making unit can be implemented by reference.
