GB/T 42379-2023 is the English-translated version of 移动真冰场技术规范.
GB/T 42379-2023 is the Chinese national technical specification for removable real ice rinks, which clause 3 defines as rinks assembled from easily dismantled, reusable structural parts and iced naturally or by refrigeration.
It specifies the requirements, the test methods, and the signs, symbols and instructions for use; the requirements run through basic requirements, site selection, ice surface size, the rink structure, the fence, protective measures and the electrical installation, and clause 5 gives a test method for each of them.
Clause 4.1 asks for a structure that can be dismantled and reassembled repeatedly, leaving the site restorable afterwards. Clause 1 states that it applies to rinks used for training, teaching, amateur competition and recreation in ice hockey, short track speed skating, figure skating, curling and other ice sports. Issued on 17 March 2023, applied since 1 July 2023.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
