Part 12 of the series. It replaces GB/T 19851.12-2005, in force from 1 February 2026. Issued on 1 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 February 2026, replacing GB/T 19851.12-2005.

This document replaces GB/T 19851.12-2005 "Sports equipment and venues for primary and secondary schools - Part 12.Student physical fitness tester" Compared with GB/T 19851.12-2005, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definition of the term "student physical fitness testing equipment" has been changed (see 3.1 of the 2005 edition);
b) Added the term "durability" (see 3.2);
c) The classification has been changed (see Chapter 4, 4.1 of the 2005 edition);
d) Deleted the equipment components (see 4.2 of the 2005 edition);
e) The basic parameter requirements have been changed (see 5.1, 4.3 of the 2005 edition);
f) Changed the operating environment requirements (see 5.2, 5.1.1 of the 2005 edition);
g) Added material requirements (see 5.4.2);
h) Added structural requirements (see 5.4.3);
i) The functional requirements and corresponding test methods have been changed (see 5.3, 6.2, and 5.1, 6.2 of the 2005 edition);
j) The accuracy requirement has been deleted (see 5.3 of the 2005 edition);
k) Added electromagnetic compatibility requirements (see 5.4.7);
l) Added measurement requirements (see 5.6);
m) The appearance and surface quality requirements and corresponding test methods have been changed (see 5.5, 6.4, 5.4, 6.5 of the 2005 edition);
n) The data collection management requirements and corresponding test methods have been deleted (see 5.5 and 6.6 of the 2005 edition).

Introduction
According to the "Healthy China 2030" Outline, improving students' physical health has become an important goal of school sports.
There are clear requirements for testing equipment and physical health status. 1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of student physical fitness testing equipment (hereinafter referred to as testing equipment), and stipulates the classification, Requirements, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and test methods are described.
