Scope

GB/T 41201-2021 is the English-translated version of 月季切花等级.

GB/T 41201-2021 is the Chinese national grading standard for rose cut flowers, both single-head and multi-head.

It sets the quality requirements, starting from basic requirements, that place cut roses in a grade, and it uses the flower opening index, the degree of blooming of the flower, together with blemishes, the minor growth defects on stem, leaf or flower.

It then gives the sampling, the detection methods, the judgment rules and the packaging and shipping requirements, with a normative annex dividing the flower opening index and an informative annex illustrating it.

Pest and disease checks refer to the national and agricultural inspection procedures for flowers. Growers, traders and auction markets use it to grade roses in production and trade. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 31 December 2021.

1 Scope

This document specifies the quality requirements, sampling, testing methods, judging rules, packaging and labeling of single-head and multi-head cut roses.
