GB/T 40604-2021 is the English-translated version of 新能源场站调度运行信息交换技术要求.

GB/T 40604-2021 sets the technical requirements for the dispatch and operation information that renewable energy stations, including their booster stations, exchange with the power grid dispatching agencies.

It specifies the content of the information, how it is exchanged and the technical requirements, with separate chapters for wind farms and for photovoltaic power stations.

It applies to wind farms connected to the power system through lines of 35 kV and above, and to photovoltaic power stations connected at 10 kV and above with an installed capacity of 6 MW or more.

It builds on the grid connection rules for wind and photovoltaic plants and on the telecontrol, phasor measurement and wind power forecasting standards. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

1 Scope

This document specifies the information exchange content, exchange method and technical requirements for grid-connected dispatching operation of new energy stations (including booster stations).

This document is applicable to wind farms connected to the power system through 35kV and above voltage level lines, and 10kV and above voltage Information exchange between photovoltaic power plants and power dispatching agencies that are connected to the power system and have an installed capacity of 6MW and above.
