Scope
GB/T 40475-2021 is the English-translated version of 冷藏保温车选型技术要求.
GB/T 40475-2021 sets technical requirements for selecting refrigerated and insulated road vehicles. It classifies them by the average cargo compartment temperature maintained at an ambient 30 °C: classes A, B, C, D, E, F and J for perishable food and G and H for biological products.
It covers vehicle requirements, such as minimum load capacity utilization coefficients, and the compartment: materials, leak-proofness, drainage holes and vents, and air circulation, with no more than ±2 °C between measuring points when fully loaded.
Special configuration covers a driving temperature recorder to JT/T 1325 with at least two to four sensors by compartment length, heating devices and cargo fittings.
The last clause deals with vehicle selection, using an annex that matches perishable foods to vehicle types, and body marking. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.
