Scope
QC/T 449-2010 is the English-translated version of 保温车、冷藏车技术条件及试验方法.
QC/T 449-2010 brings together the technical conditions and the test methods for insulated and refrigerated vehicles in the Chinese automobile industry series. It covers the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, instruction manual, vehicle documents, transport and storage for insulated trucks and refrigerated trucks.
It is written for insulated and refrigerated trucks and semi-trailers converted from a series-produced automobile chassis, refrigerated here meaning mechanically refrigerated, while other types may follow it as a reference.
It replaces QC/T 449-2000 and QC/T 450-2000, and quotes GB 1589, GB 7258, GB/T 12677, GB/T 21145-2007, QC/T 252 and QC/T 484, taking ECE/TRANS/165 and JIS D4001-1995 as non-equivalent references. Issued on 16 August 2010, it has applied since 1 December 2010.
