Scope

GB/T 33495-2017 is the English-translated version of 农村地区家电维修服务规范.

GB/T 33495-2017 sets out how household electronic and electrical appliances are to be repaired in rural areas. It gives the basic requirements, the service categories, the maintenance services themselves, the service procedures and the content of the service assessment, and its normative annexes cover front-desk service and on-site service.

It applies to the organisations, operators and practitioners at every level that dismantle and repair household appliances in rural areas. It defines the rural area and defines household appliances as the electronic and electrical appliances used in the home or a similar environment to meet daily living, entertainment and information needs.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, business items, procedures and evaluation contents of home appliance repair service in rural areas.

This standard applies to the rural areas engaged in home appliances disassembly and maintenance services at all levels of organizations, operators and practitioners of the business activities.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Rural areas
