1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of digital prints printed on paper substrates using inkjet or electrostatic imaging mechanisms.

Product classification, quality requirements and test methods.

This standard applies to the use of inkjet inkjet imaging or electrostatic imaging mechanism printed on the digital print, does not involve digital printing

After the printing and testing of goods, with other printing materials and other imaging mechanisms formed digital print can refer to the use.

3 terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Digital prints

The use of digital printing printing products.

3.2 Electrostatic imitation electrostatic attorney

An electrophotographic image forming method is formed on the surface of a light conductor by a charge/discharge (exposure) process.

[GB/T 9851.8-2013, definition 3.1]

3.3 Inkjet imaging

Under the control of the computer to make ink ink droplets and spray to the substrate to form a visual view of the process.

[GB/T 9851.8-2013, definition 3.9]

3.4 Gray balance

Under the specified printing conditions and observation conditions, the three primary colors CMY (cyan, yellow, magenta) are printed after the gray state of the CMY The ratio of the tone value (percentage of the net).

Note. Gray in the gray balance is the same as the color of the a * and b * values of the printed substrate, or the same value as the primary color black print L

Colour.

3.5 Tone tonegradation

Image shades or color depth changes in visual representation.
