Scope
GB/T 30329.5-2019 is the English-translated version of 印刷技术 四色印刷油墨颜色和透明度 第5部分:柔性版印刷.
GB/T 30329.5-2019 is Part 5 of GB/T 30329 and fixes the colour and the transparency characteristics required of a set of primary process inks, additives included, for four-colour flexographic printing, together with the test methods.
It states the chroma values and the transparency characteristics, and describes the measurement principle, the preparation of the test prints and the colour measurement steps.
To avoid restricting the way pigments are combined it does not prescribe the pigments or their spectral characteristics, only the chromaticity that has to be met.
A normative annex gives the reference substrate, and informative annexes cover the test methods and proofs and examples of sample preparation equipment. It applies to flexographic printing with solvent-based and with water-based inks, and cites GB/T 451.2, GB/T 8941 and GB/T 19437. Issued on 31 December 2019, it has applied since 1 July 2020.

Foreword
GB/T 30329 "Color and transparency of printing inks for four-color printing technology" includes the following 5 parts.
--- Part 1. Sheetfed and thermoset web offset printing;
--- Part 2. Cold-set offset printing;
--- Part 3. Publication gravure printing;
--- Part 4. screen printing;
--- Part 5. Flexographic printing.
This part is Part 5 of GB/T 30329.
This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Introduction
The purpose of this part of GB/T 30329 is to define the chromaticity and transparency characteristics of standard four-color inks for flexographic printing. The result is Obtained under the reference substrate and test conditions specified in this section. Standardized ink enables flexographic printing under the same printing conditions Get similar color effect. The color standards specified in this part of GB/T 30329 can improve the production of flexographic inks and printing separations. For evidence.
This part of GB/T 30329 has collected 13 kinds of paper patterns and 5 kinds of four-color solvents commonly used in flexographic printing on the domestic market based on national conditions.
Agent ink and five kinds of four-color water-based ink samples, the national paper product quality supervision and inspection center was commissioned to carry out the corresponding technical parameter test. Getting After obtaining a sufficient amount of measured data, using the principle of mathematical statistics, the technical indicators for the reference substrate used in this part of the test were screened. in On this basis, the technical indicators of color and transparency of four-color solvent inks and water-based inks were determined.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 30329 specifies the colors and requirements for a set of primary inks (including additives) for four-color flexographic printing. Transparency characteristics, while also prescriptive test methods.
In order to avoid restricting the development of optimized combinations of different pigments, this section does not specify pigments (or spectral characteristics), but it should meet the Fixed chromaticity requirements.
This section applies to flexographic printing using solvent inks and water-based inks.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Extender
A transparent or translucent material added to the ink to reduce the concentration of the colorant without significantly affecting the rheology of the ink.
3.2 Press-ready ink
Ink with all the necessary ingredients and suitable viscosity on the press.
3.3 Transparency
The ability of the ink to penetrate the light and reveal the color of the covered surface.
Note: It is usually expressed by measuring the amount of excess scattered light.
3.4 Solvent-based ink
Ink using organic solvents as the main solvent. [GB/T 15962-2018, definition 2.32]
3.5 Water-based ink
Ink composed of water-based binder and other components. [GB/T 15962-2018, definition 2.33]
