Scope

GB/T 36741-2018 is the English-translated version of 少儿语言培训服务规范.

GB/T 36741-2018 is the Chinese national service specification for language training aimed at children.

It sets requirements for the service provider, covering learning activities, staff, customer and student information, safety, health, communication and remediation, and for service resources: teaching staff, premises, facilities and equipment, online learning platforms and learning materials.

It then follows the service process from the information given to families, needs confirmation, the service plan, agreement and fee payment to delivery, communication and feedback, and closes with principles, elements, process, methods and results for evaluating the service.

Normative annexes detail safety and hygiene rules, the competence of teachers and the requirements for premises, equipment, platforms and learning materials. Training institutions use it to manage and assess their services.

The standard was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

1 Scope

This standard gives the requirements for service providers, service resources, service processes, and service evaluation of children's language training services.

This standard applies to the management, implementation and evaluation of children's language training services.

Note: The management, implementation and evaluation of language training services for other minors can be used as reference.
