Scope

GB/T 32776-2016 is the English-translated version of 农药密度测定方法.

This standard sets out how the density of a pesticide product is measured.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the hydrometer method and the density bottle method for homogeneous liquid pesticides and the dilution hydrometer method and the defoaming density bottle method for suspension formulations, numbering them 3.1 to 3.4 and assigning the first two to homogeneous liquid pesticides and the last two to suspending agents.

Clause 3, test method, opens by stating that water, where no other requirement is given, means analytically pure reagents and the grade three water specified in GB/T 6682-2008, and then takes each method in turn.

Method 3.1 is laid out as a methodological summary, an instrument list and measurement steps: a hydrometer accurate to 0.0005 g/mL or an equivalent instrument, a thermostat controllable to 20 degrees C plus or minus 0.5 degrees C, and a 1000 mL measuring cylinder wide enough for the hydrometer to float freely with at least 25 mm of space below it, the sample being brought to 20 degrees C and poured down the wall of the cylinder so that no foam forms before the reading is taken.

Method 3.2 is shown only as far as its summary, in which the volume of the density bottle is calibrated with water at 20 degrees C and the mass of the sample weighed before the density is calculated; the draft breaks off inside that subclause, so 3.3 and 3.4 are not shown.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 6682-2008. The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and placed under the National Pesticide Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC133), with Shenyang Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. as the responsible drafting unit. It was issued on 2016-06-14 and has applied since 2017-01-01.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the specific gravity method for the determination of the density of homogeneous liquid pesticides, the density of bottles and the determination of the dilution specificity of the suspension dosage Method, defoaming density bottle method.

The proportion of the standard method (3.1) and density bottle method (3.2) in this standard is applicable to homogeneous liquid pesticides; dilution hydrometry (3.3) and defoaming density Law (3.4) applies to suspending agents and so on.

2 Normative reference documents

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

GB/T 6682-2008 Analytical laboratory water specifications and test methods (ISO 3696. 1987, MOD)

3 Test method

The water used in this standard, when not specified in other requirements, refers to the analysis of pure reagents and GB/T 6682-2008 in the provisions of the three water.

3.1 Proportion method

3.1.1 Methodological Summary

Place the sample at constant temperature and place it at almost the same temperature. Put the appropriate hydrometer into the sample After the contrast meter readings, as the sample density.

3.1.2 Instrument

Hydrometer. accurate to 0.0005g/mL, or equivalent instrument.

Thermostat. temperature can be controlled at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C.

Measuring cylinder. 1000mL (diameter greater than the specific gravity of at least 25mm, so that the hydrometer can be free floating in the sample, and in the container The bottom and the bottom of the hydrometer at least 25mm space); or meet the space requirements of the cylindrical container.

3.1.3 Measurement steps

At 20 °C, the liquid test substance is equilibrated with the surrounding temperature and poured into the graduated cylinder. The liquid test object is passed along the edge of the graduated cylinder Injection, so as not to generate foam. Holding the handle of the hydrometer, slowly into the liquid, the hydrometer can not touch the cylinder wall, when the hydrometer stable After reading the reading.

3.2 Density bottle method

3.2.1 Methodological Summary

The volume of the density bottle was calibrated with water at 20 °C, and the sample mass was weighed. Finally, the sample density was calculated.
