Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 23554-2009 "40% Ethephon Aqueous Agent". Compared with GB/T 23554-2009, except for structural adjustment and compilation In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Added specifications and indicators of etheric solution (see 4.2);

---Added 2-chloroethylphosphonate-2-chloroethyl ester mass fraction items and indicators (see 4.2);

--- Added ion chromatography method for determination of ethephon mass fraction (see 5.5.1);

---Added inspection rules (see Chapter 6);

---Increased the quality assurance period of etheric solution (see 7.2).

1 Scope

This document stipulates the technical requirements, inspection rules, acceptance and quality assurance period of etheric solution, as well as the signs, labels, packaging, storage This article describes a test method for etheric solutions.

This document applies to the quality control of etheric solution products.

Note: See Appendix A for other names, structural formulas and basic physical and chemical parameters of ethephon, 2-chloroethyl 2-chloroethylphosphonate (MEPHA) and 1,2-dichloroethane.
