Scope
GB/T 29057-2023 is the English-translated version of 用区熔拉晶法和光谱分析法评价多晶硅棒的规程.
GB/T 29057-2023 gives the procedure for judging polycrystalline silicon rods by growing a sample into a single crystal and then measuring it by spectroscopy.
It covers the sampling of the rod, the float-zone melting and pulling of the sample into a single crystal, and its analysis by low-temperature infrared or photoluminescence spectroscopy for the donor, acceptor, substitutional carbon and interstitial oxygen contents.
It also sets out the method summary, the interference factors, the choice of sampling plan, the data processing, the precision and the test report, and defines the monitoring rod used to check the cleanliness of core preparation, of the acid etching tank and of the float-zone process.
It applies to rod-shaped polysilicon deposited and grown on silicon cores. It replaces GB/T 29057-2012, was issued on 6 August 2023 and has applied since 1 March 2024.
