Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 26778-2011 "Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Vehicles and Trains". Compared with GB/T 26778-2011, except Apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2011 edition);

--- Added the terms and definitions of "car train", "traction vehicle", "multi-trailer train" and "maximum width of turning channel" (see 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4);

Introduction

As an important carrier of road transportation in our country, automobile trains have a direct impact on road traffic safety due to their performance. This document clarifies The performance requirements and test methods of automobiles and trains can effectively guide traction vehicle and trailer manufacturers in the design, production, matching, and testing of vehicles.

1 Scope

This document specifies the performance requirements for automobile trains and describes the corresponding test methods.

This document is applicable to the design and production of articulated trains and freight trains composed of towing vehicles and O3 and O4 trailers running on roads, production and use. The multi-trailer train running in a specific area shall be implemented by reference.
