Foreword

This standard is equivalent to using ISO 8718:2001 "Road vehicles - tractor and drawbar trailer Mechanical connections strength test" (English Chinese Version).

This standard and ISO 8718:2001 in comparison, made the following editorial changes.

This standard replaces GB/T 15087-1994 "Motor vehicles and trailers mechanical coupling means strength test." this standard and GB/T 15087-1994 comparison, the main differences are as follows.

--- Test frequency capped by 30Hz to 25Hz;

--- Increasing the static test.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the tractor traction device and its accompanying 40mm and 50mm drawbar hanging ring strength test conditions and Claim.

NOTE. This standard applies to tractor pulling strength test apparatus. Tractor pulling device complies with ISO 3584, drawbar hanging ring in line with GB/T 4781 and ISO 8755.
