Scope

GB/T 25141-2022 is the English-translated version of 自吸式回转动力泵.

GB/T 25141-2022 is the Chinese national standard for self-priming rotodynamic pumps.

It gives the types and the basic parameters, the technical requirements - the priming time and height, the hydraulic performance, the materials, the mechanical requirements, the noise and vibration and the surface finish - the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage.

It applies to self-priming pumps handling clean water, sewage and hydrocarbon liquids, and not to internally or externally mixing pumps. Pump makers and the plants that specify and accept a pump use it.

It replaces GB/T 25141-2010, was issued on 9 March 2022 and has applied since 1 October 2022.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GB/T 25141-2010 "Types and Basic Parameters of Self-priming Rotary Power Pumps", which is consistent with GB/T 25141-2010 In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Changed the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2010 edition);

--- Changed the representation of the pump model (see Appendix A, 4.3 of the.2010 edition);

---Added the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of self-priming rotary power pumps (see Chapter 5~ Chapter 8).

1 Scope

This document specifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to pumps that transport clean water, sewage, and hydrocarbon liquids.

This document does not apply to internal and external mixing pumps.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 7021 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Frontself-primingdevice

A device located at the suction end of the pump to realize the self-priming function of the pump.

3.2 Self-priming time

Under the specified test conditions, the time required for the continuous operation of the pump from the start to the continuous delivery of liquid from the pump outlet.
