Scope

GB/T 33634-2017 is the English-translated version of 液体泵 安全要求 液体静压试验.

GB/T 33634-2017 sets out the hydrostatic test that a pump test piece has to pass. It fixes the time points in manufacture at which the test is made, the preparation, the test pressure, the test procedure, the acceptance criteria, the trimming afterwards and the test record.

As a rule every test piece is tested at ambient temperature, and sampling may be considered only for large production batches where the manufacturer confirms it is suitable; complex parts such as double-casing pumps, multistage pumps and reciprocating pump cylinder blocks may be tested separately at different pressures.

It applies to pumps that deliver liquids and not to pumps whose maximum allowable working pressure is below 0.1 MPa. It cites GB/T 7021, GB/T 7785 and ISO 17769. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the hydrostatic test procedures and requirements for pump test pieces.

This standard applies to pumps that deliver liquids.

This standard does not apply to pumps with a maximum allowable working pressure of less than 0.1 MPa.

2 Normative reference documents

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 7021, GB/T 7785, ISO 17769 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Test item

Any part, component, component, pump or pump unit for hydrostatic test.

Note: Do not include mechanical seals, connecting bolts, end caps, etc. installed in the pump or separate seal part, but these parts can withstand the test pressure.

4 General

4.1 In general, all test pieces of the pump shall be subjected to a hydrostatic test at ambient temperature. Only the pump is manufactured in larger batches and The sampling plan can only be considered when the manufacturer confirms that it is suitable for sampling. See Appendix A for a random sampling plan.

Note: The purpose of the hydrostatic test is to test the test piece by applying a pressure of more than the maximum working pressure to the test piece. Whether there is a leaking and leaking phenomenon in the junction of the body to determine whether the test piece is qualified.

4.2 double-shell pump, multi-stage pump, the overall gear box drive pump test pieces, reciprocating displacement pump cylinder block and other pressure situation is complex Test pieces can be tested separately according to different pressures.

4.3 independent pressure chamber should be tested separately, the test process with its adjacent chamber should not exert pressure.

4.4 In order to avoid overloading the reciprocating pump crankshaft, the components of the recirculation suction section should be supported or disconnected from the crankshaft.

5 Test time points

In the manufacturing process of the test piece, the manufacturer shall arrange sufficient time for the test. The test time points are as follows. After finishing
