3.1 Energy recovery ventilators for outdoor air handling; ERV

Equipment that uses a sensible heat or total energy recovery component as the core and drives the air flow through a fan to achieve outdoor air to exhaust air energy recovery and outdoor air filtration.

3.2 Energy recovery components; ERC

Heat exchange components that achieve sensible heat or total heat energy exchange between air and air.

3.3 Total heat exchange

Energy exchange in which sensible heat and latent heat conversion occur simultaneously.

3.4 Sensible heat exchange

Energy exchange in which only sensible heat conversion occurs.

3.5 Standard air

Air with an atmospheric pressure of 101.3 kPa, a dry bulb temperature of 20 °C, a wet bulb temperature of 15.8 °C, a density of 1.2 kg/m³.

3.6 Outdoor air

Outdoor air entering from the outdoor air inlet.

4 Classification and marking

4.1 Classification

4.1.1 The code for the energy recovery ventilators for outdoor air handling is "ERV"; the code for the energy recovery components for outdoor air handling is "ERC".

4.1.2 The classification and corresponding codes of ERV and ERC are shown in Table 1.

4.2 Marking

4.2.1 ERV marking

Example:

An energy recovery ventilators for outdoor air handling with a rated air supply of 300 m³/h, total heat, hanging type, rotary type, non-flame retardant and ordinary antibacterial, is marked as.
