Scope

GB/T 40397-2021 is the English-translated version of 户式新风除湿机.

GB/T 40397-2021 covers household fresh air dehumidifiers, units that supply outdoor air to a dwelling while removing moisture from it. It applies to units using chilled water, direct expansion or dual cold source cooling, or other dehumidification methods, with an air supply volume of not more than 2000 m³/h.

The standard gives classification and marking, general requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage.

Three normative annexes set the test methods for the main technical parameters of chilled water, direct expansion and dual cold source units. It relies on standards for household appliance safety, dehumidifiers, heat recovery fresh air units, air filters and noise measurement.

Manufacturers and test laboratories use it. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and marking of household fresh air dehumidifiers (hereinafter referred to as "fresh air dehumidifiers"), general requirements, requirements, test methods, Inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document is applicable to households with cold water, direct expansion, dual cold source cooling dehumidification and other dehumidification methods, and the air supply volume is not more than 2000m³/h. Type fresh air dehumidifier.
