GB/T 29730-2025 is the English-translated version of 冷热水用分集水器.

GB/T 29730-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the brass or stainless manifold that splits a heating or cooling circuit into loops — the materials and surface treatment, the electrothermal and electric actuators, the air tightness and the pressure strength, the hydraulic balance and the flow regulation that decide whether every loop gets its share, the corrosion, bending, torsion and pull-out resistance of the branch connections, the opening and closing of the valves, and the EPDM seal rings. It replaces GB/T 29730-2013, under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. In force from 1 February 2026. Issued on 1 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 February 2026, replacing GB/T 29730-2013.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 29730-2013 "Manifolds for hot and cold water". Compared with GB/T 29730-2013, except for the structural adjustment and In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The terms "manifold", "manifold regulating valve", "manifold on-off valve" and their definitions have been changed (see 3.1, 3.4, 3.5, 2013 3.1, 3.4, and 3.5 of the 2012 edition);

b) Added the terms "electrothermal actuator", "electric actuator", "flow coefficient" and their definitions (see 3.6 to 3.8);

c) Added classification (see 4.1);

d) The marking has been changed (see 4.2, 4.3 of the 2013 edition);

e) The general requirements for structure, materials, and surface treatment have been changed (see 5.1 to 5.3, 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.4 of the 2013 edition);

f) Added general requirements for actuators (see 5.4);

g) Changed the requirements for appearance, dimensions and connections, air tightness, pressure strength, hydraulic balance performance, flow regulation performance and bending resistance (See 6.1, 6.2, 6.4 to 6.8, and 4.2, 5.3, 6.1 to 6.6 of the 2013 edition);

h) Added requirements for corrosion resistance, torsion resistance, pull-out resistance, and opening and closing performance (see 6.3, 6.9 to 6.11);

i) The test methods for appearance, air tightness, pressure strength, hydraulic balance performance, flow regulation performance and bending resistance have been changed (see 7.2, 7.5~7.9, 2013 version 7.1~7.6);

j) Added test conditions, dimensions and connections, corrosion resistance, torsion resistance, pull-out resistance and opening and closing performance test methods (see 7.1, 7.3, 7.4, 7.10, 7.11, 7.12);

k) Added inspection categories (see 8.1);

l) The inspection rules for factory inspection and type inspection have been changed (see 8.2, 8.3, and 8.1, 8.2 of the 2013 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and marking, general requirements, requirements, test methods of manifolds for hot and cold water (hereinafter referred to as "manifolds").

Methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to manifolds in hot and cold water cooling and heating systems of civil buildings and ancillary buildings of industrial buildings.

This document is not applicable to large manifolds in refrigeration rooms or heating exchange stations.
