GB/T 19882.213-2012 is the English-translated version of 自动抄表系统第213部分：低压电力线载波抄表系统载波采集器.

GB/T 19882.213-2012 is the part of the Chinese automatic meter reading series that covers the DLC acquisition unit of a low-voltage power line carrier system, the device that collects the readings sent by the meters over the distribution line.

It gives the terminology, the technical requirements - functions, communication interface, electrical performance, environmental conditions, structure, insulation and electromagnetic compatibility - the test methods and the inspection and acceptance rules.

It applies only to low-voltage power line carrier meter reading systems equipped with a collector. Utilities and meter makers use it to specify and accept the units. Issued on 31 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
