3.3 Coastal waters nearshorearea

From the sea close to the coast of the mainland.

Note. Sea published baseline point refers to the outer limit of the territorial sea waters between the mainland coast of the Bohai Sea and the northern Gulf generally refers to 10m water depth shallow waters.

3.4 Coastal waters coastalarea

Within the coastal waters near the mainland coast, hydrological factors and weather conditions by big land Runoff waters.

Note. generally refers to the sea from the mainland within 10km of the coast.

3.5 Marine environment sensitive areas

Marine ecosystem service function of higher value, and its waters more difficult to restore function after suffering damage.

NOTE. including nature reserves, natural concentrated distribution of rare and endangered marine life, bays, estuaries waters, territorial sea base points and its surrounding waters and islands

Its surrounding seas, important marine ecosystems and special habitats (mangroves, coral reefs, etc.), important fishery waters, marine natural history sites and natural

Landscape.

3.6 Marine engineering

In development, utilization, protection and restoration of marine resources for the purpose, the main project is located in the coastline seaward side of the new construction, renovation, expansion project.
