3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 50095 apply to this document.

4 General Requirements

4.1

Hydrological information forecasting should strengthen the collection and analysis of multi-source monitoring and sensing information and the application of new technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, and should be developed and iterated.

Model-based methods are used to advance coupled meteorological, hydrological, and hydrodynamic forecasting, achieving an effective balance between extending forecast lead times and improving forecast accuracy, thus supporting forecasting...

Accurate police alerts and scientific scheduling of water projects.

4.2

Hydrological information forecasts should include the following.

b) Collect and process information on rainfall, water levels, drought conditions, storm surges, ice conditions, salinity, sand conditions, soil moisture, water quality, and groundwater.

c) Produce and release information on water conditions, drought conditions, storm surges, ice conditions, salinity, sand conditions, moisture conditions, water quality, groundwater, and other conditions for different forecast periods.

Forecasting or prediction of hydrological phenomena;

d) Analyze and provide drought and flood trend forecasts and outlook results;

e) Analyze and provide consultation or reference materials on hydrological situations.

4.3 A hydrological forecasting plan should be prepared and used as the basic basis for operational forecasting.

4.4

The hydrological forecasting scheme should include a description of the watershed's hydrological characteristics, an analysis of the reliability, consistency, and representativeness of the data used, and the models and methods employed.
